Refunds & Returns

Return & Exchange policy

Because most of our items are perishable, we can only offer returns within 2 days of purchase and only if any major flaws or defects. All product is delivered with ample shelf life on the product and we have full confidence in the cold chain of our suppliers and ourselves, so any claims for damaged goods or similar must be clearly documented.

Note – Vacuum packed product has a natural confinement odor when opening (particularly lamb) so any concerns with regards to smell does not mean the product is off. If worried about this, please take out of packing and rest for 2-3 hours and confinement odor will have gone.

To request a refund, please email us at info@australianmeatcompany.com and we will respond within 48 hours.

We do not offer returns if:
• You ordered more than 3 working days ago
• The product has been opened
• You decided that you did not like the item after opening

“There is almost always an odour detectable on opening the pack, usually slightly sour, which dissipates after a few minutes. This is called ‘confinement odour’, and is a normal occurrence as meat ages and should not be considered as part of the odour assessment. The odour which must be assessed is that which persists around the meat when it has been removed from its packaging for a few minutes.”
